Styles J Kauphmann
Styles J. Kauphmann was born in South Africa in 1983, raised in Botswana & the United Kingdom, and educated at Cambridge & in Berlin.
The artwork displayed accompanies a series of improvised performances featuring solo clarinet, violin & voice. The project, begun in November 2006, comprises twenty-three concerts, divided into eleven groups and performed in venues spanning the length of England. The sequence will conclude with a concert in Berlin in May 2009.
